Blue-grey plaid zip jacket by french designer jean colonna, from spring 1994 (you can see it worn on the runway in picture 2, and more images from the collection on our dedicated page). Made from a crisp blend of wool and polyester, it has a zip front, point collar, and angled welt pockets at the waist. The jacket is unlined, with cuffs and hem finished using overlocking (a common colonna detail). It appears to have been made using a vintage eclair zip (c. 1960s-70s), which again was common for jean colonna garments (which prior to their manufacturing deal with gibo in 1997 were largely made in-house).
